China 2005
In the summer of 2005,
my mother took me a wonderful trip to China with the tour
company, Grand Circle
Travel.
It was really a fantastic
trip, and I re-live it in my memory, as well as talk about
it with my mother whenever I see her. It was this trip that
inspired me to start publishing my photographs, not only on
China, but on many other subjects that interest me. It has
become a "regular thing" for me, but I've decided
not to put out more than one book a year.
Textures of China
ISBN: 1-4276-0239-5

See the hidden China which lurks beyond eye level or
right beneath your feet. Gaze at architectural details,
often overlooked, but always present at these famous
places in China. Each photo is a feast of texture and
the play of light and shadow all cast in vivid colors.
This book is a meditation on craftsmanship offering
a unique and mesmerizing view of China that is seldom
seen. |

Hundreds of them! I took about 800 photos on this trip,
but I screened out some of them. I think there are about
700. |
